Anybody know what this "unidentified flying object" is? A hummingbird? It has antennae...?

It is called a Hummingbird Hawk Moth - "macroglossum stellatarum". Common in Meditarranean areas and is often mistaken for a hummingbird. Check it out on Wikipedia, or BBC Science & Nature. The adults feed on nectar of flowers, just like a hummingbird. It was so cool to see this - we seriously couldn't figure out what it was! - Julie
